AUSTRALIAN ENERGY EFFICIENT BUILDING CONSULTANTS > Commercial Buildings

AEEBC has grown a strong reputation for being able to assess any type building of building anywhere in Australia. Commercial buildings have become a large part of our business having already assessed a diversity of single use and mixed-use commercial projects such as offices, retail, restaurants / cafes, workshops, warehouses, aged-care facilities, schools and daycare facilities. In many cases we have assessed buildings which contain many classes of buildings in the same envelope such as apartments above offices, restaurants and retail shops.

There are two main ways to perform an energy assessment for new / and renovated Class 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 commercial buildings: Deemed to Satisfy Assessment (DTS) or Commercial Building Assessment Software.  AEEBC has extensive experience in performing energy efficiency assessments for commercial buildings. Results showed the commercial components of the building met BCA requirements for energy efficiency with no further cost to the client. Home Energy Rating Software was used to assess the 136 class apartments with each unit achieving an average of 4.7 stars.
