Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.
Geotechnical engineering is the branch of civil engineering concerned with the engineering behavior of earth materials. Geotechnical engineering includes investigating existing subsurface conditions and materials; determining their physical/mechanical and chemical properties that are relevant to the project considered, assessing risks posed by site conditions; designing earthworks and structure foundations; and monitoring site conditions, earthwork and foundation construction.
To this end, CADDS Engineering offers the ability to meet all your drafting needs, with the facilities to create both civil and geotechnical drawings to your requirements and specifications. We have experience in both fields, including footing design, slab layouts, earthworks and piping long sections.
CADDS Engineering will follow a project from inception to completion, and we are able to visit you on site for job evaluation and site measuring if required. We regularly visit most of the Pilbara Iron sites in Western Australia, liaising with the individual engineers as to the job specific requirements. Photographs are taken and all necessary site measuring is done to ensure accurate integration of the new project into existing structure and/or earthworks.
Qualified CADDS Engineering draftsmen are available to visit you in the Perth metro area, or anywhere in regional Western Australia at your convenience. If you prefer to come and see us in person, we also have a dedicated boardroom to allow you the greatest degree of confidentiality when discussing your project.
