“Overall Winner 2008” for the Rio Tinto Supplier Recognition Program is CADDS Engineering. As a division of Computer Aided Design and Drafting Services, CADDS Engineering conducted several hundred design engineering projects for Rio Tinto. Our innovative designs provided engineering solutions to a wide variety of identified problems. The CADDS group also provided architectural drafting (CADDS Architectural) and energy assessment (AEEBC) services to an excellent standard throughout 2008.
CADDS have built up an extremely effective team that works closely with our team, to the point that we look upon CADDS as an extension of the Drawing Office for all practical purposes, they are easy to deal with and take on all challenges.

The award was accepted 12th February 2009 at the Rio Tinto Supplier Recognition Program 2008 Awards Function at the Duxton Hotel, Perth. In addition CADDS was awarded the winner of “Intellectual Services” Category 2008. This follows our nomination as a top 3 finalist for this award in 2007.
We believe in part we have been privileged with this award due to our consistently high standards and efforts we make to meet and exceed our customer expectations, but more than that our staff have a “can do” attitude and are often on a plane to visit a mine site with only hours notice to site measure an urgent project
